William Barbour is my great grandfather. He learned to fly at Princeton, and from what research I have found he was sent to France, and then sent to Italy and trained in Caproni tri-bombers. He then was a pioneer in RC aviation at Wright Patterson AFB until his retirement. I have a lot of pictures and primary sources from his service that I am happy to share.

Luke, I don't know if you'll ever see this comment, but please email me at danieln1@vt.edu. Happy to talk about your great grandfather!
